Do I need a physical drum kit to use HyperDrum?
No. HyperDrum uses motion-tracking drumsticks to play virtual drums and cymbals. The foot sensors control the hi-hat and bass drum, so you can play without a physical drum kit.
Do I need an app to play HyperDrum?
No. You can play HyperDrum without an app. Connect wired headphones or a compatible speaker to the drum console’s 3.5 mm audio output to hear your playing.
How do I connect headphones or speakers?
HyperDrum supports both Bluetooth and wired audio connections. Connect compatible Bluetooth headphones, speakers, or car audio wirelessly, or use the drum console’s 3.5 mm output for wired headphones or speakers. Bluetooth MIDI is a separate connection for sending performance data to compatible music software.
Should I choose the standard or left-handed version?
Choose the version that matches your preferred playing orientation. If you are unsure which option suits you, contact support@theodots.com before ordering.
